Official Contest Rules

1. Contest Overview

Fancrowd operates daily comedy video contests (“Contests”) where users submit short-form comedy videos. Community members vote on submissions, and the video with the most votes wins a share of the prize pool. Each Contest runs on a daily cycle.

2. Eligibility

Contests are open to users who meet all of the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a registered Fancrowd account in good standing
• Must have a verified phone number on their account
• Must reside in a jurisdiction where participation is legal

Employees and contractors of Fancrowd and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. How to Enter

To enter a Contest, you must submit an original comedy video (56 seconds max) during the submission window and pay the applicable entry fee or redeem accumulated points:

• $2 entry — earns 2,000 points (1 contest entry)
• $5 entry — earns 6,000 points (3 contest entries)
• $7 entry — earns 14,000 points (7 contest entries)
• 2,000 points — redeemable for 1 free contest entry

Points are earned by voting on videos and through referrals. Each user may submit one (1) video per Contest. All submissions are subject to content moderation and must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Contest Timeline

Each daily Contest follows this schedule (all times Central Time):

• Submission window: Opens the day before at 4:00 AM and closes at 1:59 AM on contest day
• Moderation review: 2:00 AM – 3:59 AM on contest day
• Voting window: 4:00 AM on contest day through 3:59 AM the next day (24 hours)
• Winner announcement: Shortly after the voting window closes

5. Winner Selection

The winner of each Contest is determined by the total number of votes received during the voting window. In the event of a tie, the following tiebreakers apply in order:

1. Number of shares: The video with more shares wins
2. Number of views: The video with more views wins
3. Random selection: If a complete tie persists after shares and views are considered, the platform will determine the winner through a randomized selection

6. Prize Pool & Payout

Each Contest has a guaranteed minimum prize pool of $50. Entry fees contribute to the prize pool. If total entry fees are less than $50, the platform subsidizes the difference.

The winner receives 70% of the prize pool, and the platform retains 30%. This split is applied after deducting payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe transaction fees) and applicable app store fees (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store commission). These third-party fees vary and are outside of Fancrowd's control.

If the prize pool is at or below the guaranteed minimum of $50, the winner receives the full $50 and the platform absorbs all fees and subsidizes the difference.

Payouts are processed in USDC (a US dollar-pegged stablecoin). Winners must have a valid wallet address linked to their account to receive funds. Payout timing may vary depending on network conditions.

7. Content Requirements

All submitted videos must:

• Be original content created by the submitting user
• Be 56 seconds or shorter in duration
• Not contain nudity, graphic violence, or illegal activity
• Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• Comply with Fancrowd's Acceptable Use Policy

Fancrowd reserves the right to reject or remove any submission that violates these rules. Videos are subject to both automated and human content moderation.

8. Disqualification

Fancrowd reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Uses bots, fake accounts, or automated systems to gain votes
• Engages in vote manipulation or coordination
• Submits content that violates the Acceptable Use Policy
• Creates multiple accounts to enter the same Contest

Disqualified participants forfeit any prizes and may be permanently banned from the platform.

9. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes on their prizes. Fancrowd may be required to report winnings to tax authorities and may request tax identification information from winners as required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

Fancrowd is not responsible for technical failures, interrupted service, or other issues beyond its reasonable control that may affect Contest participation or results. Fancrowd reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any Contest at its sole discretion.

11. Governing Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Platform Disclaimer

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are not involved in any way with, any Fancrowd contest or sweepstakes. Neither Apple nor Google is responsible for any claims, losses, damages, or injuries arising from participation in any Contest.
